Oplægget diskuterer børn og unges brug af medierne – fra mobilen til nettet, men bidrager også til at øge viden om, hvem de er, hvordan de har det med sig selv og hinanden – og med de voksne, de har i deres liv fra forældre til professionelle opdragere og omsorgsgivere.

Generation Arto – on self-reflective and competent children and youth and their use of modern media

The aim of this lecture is to discuss children and young people’s use of media – from the cell phone to the Internet. Furthermore, lecture intends to contribute to the adding of knowledge about who they are, how they are feeling about themselves and each other – and about the grown-ups being part of their lives – from parents to professional educationalists and welfare workers.
